Toby Butterwick — Director, Claret-e Singapore
Toby is a relatively newbie to the wine industry, having set up the Singapore operation of Claret-e in 2014. Prior to that he had a career working for advertising and design agencies all over the world as a so-called suit. Partly because there’s no money in wine — especially when you sell it so cheaply — and partly because he loves the sound of his own voice, he is also a corporate trainer, working as a consultant with a global firm headquartered in Singapore.
Justin Eeles — Manager Deliveries and Invoicing, Singapore
Justin is a media man, having run and edited a number of magazine titles over the years. He started as a customer of Claret-e in its second year and now looks after the deliveries and invoicing. In fact, he is usually one of Claret-e’s most frequent purchasers every year — quite useful, as he earns a commission on what he sells to himself.
Guy Butterwick — Managing Director, Claret-e Ltd, UK
Guy has been in the wine industry since 1988, originally in buying roles at well-known UK fine wine merchants. He set up Claret-e in 1999 with the express intention of finding fantastic wines at fantastic prices, having a huge amount of fun, and making almost no money at all.
